SUMMARY: Nathan Cottrell of CEG Applied Sciences has submitted this request for water service to tax parcel 320-10-069. The applicant intends to construct a new Office Building for the Department of Economic Security. The property is an unsubdivided metes and bounds parcel located at 2400 Airway Avenue.
Section 3.3 E of the Utility Regulations requires that every unsubdivided parcel receive water service approval by the City Council after review by the Municipal Utility Commission. The Municipal Utility Commission reviewed this request at their June 27, 2019 meeting and voted 5-0 to recommend approval of water service.
Resolution No. 5230 grants water service to 2400 Airway Avenue from the existing 8 inch water main in Airway Avenue.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will receive water and sewer revenues.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
The Municipal Utility Commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval of water service to 2400 Airway Avenue. Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 5230.
